Start with the UK selection guide
Skyborne's published UK selection guide points applicants towards Aon familiarisation and discusses skills including monitoring, numerical work, reaction, direction and multitasking. It also explains the role of personality questions and recommends honest responses.
Use the school's own sample instructions before selecting extra practice. A programme-specific invitation is more precise than a preparation site's generic description of the school.
Skyborne programmes can use different routes
Symbiotics has separately announced ADAPT use for Skyborne's IndiGo pathway. Skyborne also announced a UK training partnership with easyJet in 2026. These programme announcements should not be collapsed into one provider or one assessment battery for every Skyborne applicant.
Match your preparation to your invitation
Confirm your training location, airline pathway and intake. Ask the programme which official familiarisation applies if the public website and your invitation appear to describe different arrangements. For personality questionnaires, answer about your usual behaviour rather than attempting to learn an ideal profile.
Give your preparation a structure
Start with the free test and review the explanations for errors. Choose one skill for a focused session, practise without time pressure until you understand the method, then add a timer. Keep a short record of errors caused by calculation, misreading, recall or time pressure.
Use assessment-day practice to work on sustained attention and task switching after the individual skills feel familiar. Review accuracy and pace separately. FlightDeck's original tasks provide practice feedback; the programme's own familiarisation should guide your understanding of its assessment.
