Academic and aptitude preparation both matter
FTEJerez's policy describes maths, physics, numerical and verbal reasoning, English and aptitude assessment, alongside motivation and suitability. Its familiarisation page discusses reasoning, monitoring, reaction, spatial work, control, multitasking, memory and direction.
The familiarisation materials refer to cut-e tasks. Use the current school's guidance for the relevant preparation links; the published page's task list should not be treated as an exact count or a complete item bank.
Check equipment before remote assessment
FTEJerez publishes remote-selection instructions covering a computer, camera, microphone and reliable connection. Its policy also discusses the usefulness of computer and joystick familiarity. Read the instructions sent for your assessment before buying equipment or deciding which input device to practise with.
Allow time for setup and instructions
The exact delivery arrangement and schedule are set by the school. Confirm the format of your invitation and any current academic guidance. Prepare numeracy and school-level physics steadily, and learn control tasks without trying to recreate an official interface.
Give your preparation a structure
Start with the free test and review the explanations for errors. Choose one skill for a focused session, practise without time pressure until you understand the method, then add a timer. Keep a short record of errors caused by calculation, misreading, recall or time pressure.
Use assessment-day practice to work on sustained attention and task switching after the individual skills feel familiar. Review accuracy and pace separately. FlightDeck's original tasks provide practice feedback; the programme's own familiarisation should guide your understanding of its assessment.
