Product inventory checked 20 October 2026. These are product counts, not customer or sales figures.

How these figures are counted

Source inventory checked 20 October 2026. Counts describe the products, not customers, sales or business performance.

Merlin: 8 question generators and 5 available levels. Kestrel: 10 active modules in 4 subjects. FlightDeck: 22 active modules; the 12 interactive tasks sit within its practice catalogue and are not 12 extra modules.

The 37 guides are 7 on Merlin, 14 on Kestrel (including 8 area guides) and 16 on FlightDeck. Translations and sustainability articles are excluded. Generated questions are not presented as an unlimited fixed question bank. Pass prices are in GBP; the acquisition price is in USD.

Generate questions from rules.

This function rotates a figure or changes its shading, size or dots. Combining these operations creates reasoning questions with a rule the answer can be checked against.

More than the pages you can see.

The suites check scoring, question generation, access, payments and saved results. Request the test reports and run them during your code review.

Test runs checked 20 October 2026. Shared checks are counted in each repository. This count is not a code-coverage percentage.

Next.js and TypeScript. Question and scoring logic is kept separate from the interface.

Server-side access checks. Paid access follows verified payment events, with handling for refunds and repeated events.

Three separate deployments. Each brand has its own hosting project, database and checkout configuration.

Run it. Replay it. Compare.

This demo runs FlightDeck’s real control engine with a sample set of inputs. It then replays those inputs and checks that every result matches.

Runs locally. No account needed.

Run a 12-second sample and compare it with a replay of the same inputs. Both runs should produce an identical result.

Runs on your device using synthetic inputs. No account or learner data. The engine loads when you press Run.

Start with the audience you know.

The sites are built. The next job is to bring in customers, learn what they need and improve the offer.

Merlin Practice

For tutors and admissions advisers

Offer practice alongside admissions advice. Start with a small group of families, then use their feedback to improve the guides and preparation support.

Kestrel

For 11+ tutoring businesses

Use the existing practice modules between lessons. Trial a tutor-led package with one group before building school or organisation accounts.

FlightDeck Aptitude

For flight schools and pilot coaches

Add practice to applicant coaching. Trial referrals with one training provider, then develop the drills applicants use and return to most.

A practical first 90 days.

  1. Days 1–30

    Complete the handover.

Set up the buyer’s services. Check every paid offer and refund. Record traffic, sales and running costs.

  2. Days 31–60

    Test one route to customers.

Choose the site closest to your audience. Run a small tutor, adviser or flight-school trial and measure signups and purchases.

  3. Days 61–90

    Improve what people use.

Use practice activity and customer feedback to choose the next features. Compare acquisition costs, refunds and support time before spending more.

These are options for a new owner to test. No partnerships, future sales or returns are promised.

Discuss the acquisition

Code and content

Three repositories, original question content and generators, scoring logic, guides, designs and product assets.

Domains and deployment

Six listed domains, plus a walkthrough of the hosting projects, database setup, email and payment configuration.

Technical handover

A proposed two to four weeks to explain the systems and work through an agreed transfer and acceptance checklist.

Six domains included

merlinpractice.commerlinpractice.co.ukmerlinpractice.ukmerlinpractice.infokestrelpractice.co.ukflightdeckaptitude.com

Asset sale. The company, personal accounts and customer or child records are excluded unless separately agreed. Final scope is subject to contract.

Know what still needs doing.

The review should cover the business as well as the code. Here is the remaining work to include in the handover.

Commercial setup

Move commercial operation to a suitable paid hosting plan. Complete analytics and purchase attribution so traffic and sales can be measured together.

Purchase and refund checks

A witnessed live purchase and refund of every offer remains an owner acceptance check. Agree the checklist and record the results before signing off.

Legal and data review

Independent legal review of the terms, privacy notices and children’s-data paperwork is outstanding. Agree the asset and data transfer scope in writing.

Buyer questions.

Yes. US$45,000 is the negotiable asking price for the complete asset package: Merlin Practice, Kestrel and FlightDeck Aptitude, their source code, original content, designs and six listed domains. It is not a price per site. The final assets and transfer terms will be listed in the purchase agreement.

Ask for customer-redacted Stripe exports for each brand and the available traffic records. Revenue, profit, customer totals and conversion rates are not published here. The asking price is for the assets; it is not based on a stated revenue multiple or a forecast. Review the records before making an offer.

Yes. Request a private code review and a walkthrough of signed-in practice. Review the question generators, scoring, payment handling, database migrations, automated tests and deployment setup. The public engineering examples on this page are short excerpts from those repositories.

FlightDeck Aptitude Ltd and the seller’s personal accounts are excluded. Customer and child records are excluded unless separately agreed in writing. Transfer of the seller’s Stripe account is not assumed. Third-party services and open-source dependencies remain subject to their own terms and licences.

No. The sites sell one-off passes with a fixed access period. They do not renew automatically. A buyer needs new customers or repeat purchases to generate further sales. Tutor packages, school referrals and organisation licences are ideas to test, not existing contracts or promised income.

The proposed handover is two to four weeks, covering the codebases, domains, hosting, databases, email and checkout configuration. The proposed terms include 10% held for 60 days. These are discussion terms, subject to a signed purchase agreement and an agreed acceptance checklist.
